Wedding Gift Ideas
The fantastic tradition of buying gifts for the bride and groom originates from dowries, when the bride's father would give money or gifts to his future son-in-law and family. Now-a-days we’ve developed the more enjoyable process of showering the happy couple with gifts. With this new etiquette of giving and receiving comes a minefield of questions. Many people feel embarrassed asking for presents; while others may feel offended if the bride and groom don’t want to receive anything. But what exactly should a couple be asking for?
And lets not forget either that the happy couple are also expected to give presents, which are often called favours, for their guests. Favours serve two purposes, they are a way of saying thank you and they can go far in creating beautiful table settings.
